Steel hull - paint separating from antiskid surface

Hi, I wonder if there is an easy fix for this antiskid surface which the previous owner applied and which is loosing its grey paint. That is on a steel motorcruiser, freshwater operations only.

It would be mostly cosmetic. The boat's white base paint is mostly intact, there's no significant rust and the boat is fully covered anyway when not in use.

I am not very skilled and used to boatworks but if I could bring back this antiskid layer in a good shape including new paint in a few days work, I'd try it. Having it done by a professional is no option, too pricey here in Switzerland.
