When doing extended passages I've found a crew of 4 works best and is comfortably accommodated. For cruising, it's best suited for a couple (in the vee berth) with maybe a couple of
kids or others. Another couple could bunk down on the settee in the
saloon but it's not as private.

I'm retired, from Canberra, have owned yachts in
partnership since 1986, and have been sailing for 57 years. I have good
DIY skills. Apart from sharing expenses, the major reason I like a partnership is that I have lots of other interests, especially extended travel - so I like the
boat to be used. You'd find with a 50% partnership you'd be getting virtually unrestricted use of the vessel.
