BVI to Bahamas routing

I'm going to sail from BVI to Bahamas around mid'Feb, probably checking in at Clarence Town, Long Island.

Should be a nice downwind passage but haven't found any documentation of recommendation on the sail. Couple of obstacles in the way, Navidad Bank, Silver Bank, etc. Any recommendations to either go northeast of them or southwest closer to DR, and why.

I will be doing the sail single handed so one reason to take to northeast route would presumably be less traffic. My boat is reasonably well equipped with AIS, radar, and radar detection warning.

Thanks
