Brazil to Europe, willing to pay, no experience

Hello community,
My name is Oliver Allemann, I just finished my university in dentistry, did a two months voluntary in Peru and came to Brasil to look for a sailing boat, that would be so kind to take me as crew back to Europe. I have only little sailing experience (lakes and coast). I am also willing to pay for daily expenses!

About me:

Age: 24
Passport: Germany
Experience: little
Physical condition: athletic

- punctual
- good listener to orders
- clean
- good cook
- no drugs, social or no drinker, no smoker
- silent
- Good swimmer
- No special diet

I would be more than glad to receive a response.

Oliver

You're in the wrong country for a ride to Europe, most just came from there on their way to the Caribbean.

Some crew sailors in a ride to Europe from Brazil got arrested in Cape Verde with the boat’s hull laminated with 1T of coke... They are trying to explain... http://www.maritimeherald.com/2018/s...in-cape-verde/

Alleman, you're more likely to find a boat heading up to the Caribbean. From there you'll find a lot of boats going back to Europe (in the right season). I would think Salvador is the best place to look for a ride up to the Caribbean. There are few foreign boats south of Bahia, although you may find a Brazilian boat going up the coast. You could try putting a notice on the Nautica forum asking for a crew position.

Best change is to find a rite direction north.. Carib, St. Maarten etc. In Brazil most Europeans first port of call will be Cabedello, their you find Marina Jacaré Village (Tel: +55 83 87 39 11 44) and Luciano Zinn´s Ribeira Adventure Club (Tel:+55 83 3665.5003) both speaks english, ask them to help you find a rite north. Second change is Fortaleza as most Europeans use this city as a last port of call to check out. More north Natal, Recife, São Luís... no chance.

Or take a plane to Paramaribo Suriname, most dutch cruisers stay here for a few weeks, also the ones that did not land in Brazil. (Belem-Paramaribo is the cheapest flight)

Good Luck
