Live aboard on California delta

Can anyone provide any insight into the live aboard situaiton in the California delta?

I've noticed there is almost no advertising. And, some of the websites have said, "no live aboards this year," or none "currently."

Are there any marinas out there that are known to rent live aboards? Or, is it just a matter of making private contact with marina owners?

If this would help... currently live out east (past 40 years), but am originally from the Delta area. Am looking to retire, next year.
