Marina search - Buffalo area/NY state

Good day to all,

I am searching for a potential marina in the Buffalo area,

For winter storage we look for an indoor space? It can be other location than Buffalo but It needs to be in NY state.

Any recommendation?

Thanks

Call RCR in Buffalo if you don't get a response.

There is indoor storage in Sodus, not sure about Rochester but there probably is. Buffalo I don't know, I would think there is.

A lot depends on the size and type of boat. You didn't mention that. Anchor Marine in Grand Island, NY has a bunch of indoor storage.

Re: Marina search - Buffalo area/NY state

at 51ft you're going to be a VERY BIG boat in the buffalo area!!! I even found with my Morgan Out Island 41 that a lot of marinas couldn't handle me! What's your draft, weight and overall height from bottom of keel to top of highest point on deck? Do you have a cradle? that's another issue. Most marinas in the Buffalo area are really setup to handle powerboats not sailboats.

Boat 47'5" with Davit you get close to 51', draft 5'7", weight 20T, air draft 62'

We will be sailing the Great Lakes for some years so for Sale/Use tax purpose the state of NY is offering the best compromise.
