New 9' power / rowing Dory , Dink , Tender, Dinghy

Custom built fiberglass Dory ( Dorie ) . 9' x 50" . Classic lap strake looks however 100% composite. Hull is solid fiberglass , decks , bulkheads and transom are honeycomb / PVC cored. The boat was built to be used as an outboard powered dinghy but oar locks can easily be added for use as a rower.
The boat was custom built by Wild Side Boat Worx in Fernandina Bch Fl. It is a custom , one off , product. The materials , fabrication schedule and techniques are the same as used in larger boat production. Designed and rigged to be unique , not just another row boat . Would make an excellent tender on a power or sailing yacht . Or a very nice entry level boat for the kids ? It is rated for 2 persons and up to 5hp. Very unique/cool features include , level main deck , large fore and aft decks with wide gunwales , large forward storage compartment with flush hatch , aft livewell/storage. Uniquely rigged with stainless flush mount cleats , stainless heavy duty bow and stern eyes , oversize Taco rubrail with 1/2" braided rope insert , , (4) offshore style rod holders , (4) flush mount cup holders , livewell with clear lid. Also included is a new galvanized Road King trailer. $1500 (904) 556-4057

Re: New 9' power / rowing Dory , Dink , Tender, Dinghy

Nice lines. How much does it weigh?

Tenders are called on for many tasks. In the past, I used to row the bikes to shore, row back to get the wife and baby and repeat later in the day. Don't really want to take the hassle to tie everything down.

On another day, I might want to throw a couple of big sailbags in the bow to take them ashore.

Another day I might go flyfishing or snorkeling with the wife.

Still haven't seen the right dink, though I've recently gotten some ideas!
