Crew Available (Beginner)

I am a nurse and am available to crew from Bermuda to FL around 6/21/71. Healthy, capable, takes direction well, gets along with others. Looking to arrive at JAX or at close as possible.

Re: Crew Available (Beginner)

Would you like me to correct date to 6/12/17? I assume that is what you meant?

Re: Crew Available (Beginner)

A couple of years ago after I cleared out at Ordinance Island/St. Georges I was approached by a man in an dinghy who asked me where I was headed. After a short conversation I went back to customs, added him to the crew list, and had another crew member for the passage back to the US. If all else fails, you might be successful that way. Good luck.

Re: Crew Available (Beginner)

I sail south from N.S. along the US coast to the Bahamas every year, visiting friends in five locations on the way, and arriving in the Bahamas in early January. I moor my 38 foot Hughes sailboat in Marsh Harbor, Abacos until the end of March, then head north again to arrive in N.S. in May.
I could use a crew member to share helm duties, etc., and learn sailing and navigation. I am retired, so life aboard is not too extravagant, but enjoyable all the same. Let me know if you are interested.
