Marinas in La Paz

Hello Cruising Community.

I currently have my little 30 foot sailboat down in La Paz and need to do some work on it. I plan on re doing the chain plates, and rigging on the boat and was hoping to do this at a dock, making these jobs easier and quicker to get done before I head across the Pacific.
Being on a bit of a budget, I was wondering if anyone had any marina suggestions in La Paz, or anywhere else in Mexico to stay for 10-15 days to work on the boat.

Many thanks in advance!

Re: Marinas in La Paz

I believe Marina Fonatur in La Paz will be your cheapest alternative at 8 pesos per foot. Not the best location, but if you already have he materials and are doing the work yourself you won't care.

Cheers, Eric
Currently in Marina Cortez, La Paz

There is a yard next to Marina Palmira that you might check out. Tom at La Paz Cruisers Supply is a great resource for parts and referrals to locals.
