Check with the marinas in Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard. I believe there are availabilities in some marinas. In mine (Peninsula) I believe there are a couple but they have a 35' minimum for liveaboards. What kind of boat do you have?

https://cymchulavista.com/

Chula Vista, CA, South San Diego Bay

I used to live aboard here four years ago. It was nice and quiet and generally pretty clean. The cost for my boat 36' has only gone up about $30 since I left according to the online calculator. 30' is the minimum length for liveaboard.

The only real bummer is that its long haul from Chula Vista to the Ocean. But the south bay is not far and actually a fairly nice little spot for a few laps in the afternoon if that's your kind of thing.

Generally there isn't a wait for the shorter slips. I honestly don't have current info thought so give them a call.

Re: California No Wait Liveaboard Marinas

FYI, Oceanside says they have a 2 year wait list for live aboard slip. If you buy a boat in the Marina can transfer slip but not the live aboard authorization. Less than 6 months wait list for 26' (3' plus or minus) slip. 34' Slips and above are two year plus wait list.
