Re: Hello from Russia ))

Greetings and welcome to the forum. In a couple of years hope to sail to Russia on the Black Sea side if I can get a visa.

Greetings, Naina

I shared an anchorage in Malaysia just a few weeks ago with a yacht crewed by a happy crew of your countrymen, who blog about their circumnavigation. See: Хорошая морская практика. Обучение яхтингу. Кругосветное плавание на яхте

Privet, i dobro pozhalovat'!

We are based in the UK, but spent the summer in Finland with a side-trip to Vyborg. Next summer will be the same, but we will surely come to Piter. We all speak Russian (among other languages).

If you are sailing in the Baltic, you can meet lots of other sailors through the Cruising Association, which has a really strong Baltic chapter. There are quite a few of us on here, too.

I'm sure people here will be interested to hear about what the sailing scene in Piter is like, where you like to go, where you keep your boats, etc.

I don't have own boat. But I go to sea as a team member. If you arrive in St. Petersburg, I'll be glad to show my city, parking for boats and answer questions. Unfortunately I am not a member of the association. ))
