I don't know much about Lake Superior, but I know a whole lot about wives.
You want something with an enclosed
head. Period. If someone shows you a boat with a portipotty where you'll be able to hear each other tinkle in the middle of the night, keep looking.
Second, you'll want a boat with a
galley that has something better than an alcohol
stove. There are a lot of fellows out there who will tell you that an alcohol
stove is just fine, but these fellows tend either to be bachelors or divorcees.
Finally, give a thought to how the boat will handle adverse conditions, even at
anchor. Will it ventilate well on hot days? Will your marriage survive a rainy day cooped up down below? Better to ask such questions before you buy the boat, rather than to wait until it starts raining.
