Barbados Anchorages

I'm planning to cross the Atlantic (Canaries -> Caribean )very soon and would like to spend some time in Barbados. Does anyone know if it is possible anchor off the west coast other than in Bridgetown? I was hoping to anchor of St James.

Just a note.. I just read an article about fees for entering Barbados, and they got rid of the regular fees and went of a flat fee of $2000, no matter if you are there a week, or a year... yowza!!!! So, be prepared.
