Looks like a Hunter 450 with loose keel bolts taking on water and requiring the delivery crew to be rescued at sea. 'Looks just like our previous boat except ours had a Profurl mainsail furling system.

From the video description:

Capt. Terry doing a delivery to hawaii, Boat was sinking and luckily they were rescued!

Cruisers..... Check you keel bolts and safety gear.

I just saw the 2013 date on the video description, didn't notice the hairstyles or do a google search. It popped up as a new video to watch on my YouTube suggestions.

Turns out to be old news.

Oh well... still not a bad idea for everyone to check keel bolts and for water egress.

Polux issued stats that only 2 cruising monos since 1984 sunk due keel issues. Now I know for 4 already.

Add another one from that AUS movie after true events where keel hit reef and parted and boat sunk and great white eat nearly all of crew and we are at 5 already.

There are actually a few good points made in the comments section below the video on YouTube regarding the interview.

Our Hunter 450, like the one in the video, did not have a bilge... Only a small sump for a couple of gallons and a small bilge pump. Any significant or persistent leak would quickly overcome the pump and submerge the electrical wiring and house battery bank.

No.... wrong.

Most boats are out of the water this time of year and being prepped for the upcoming season. A good time to do some preventative maintenance (like checking keel bolts) on all boats no matter what the make.

I check ours on our Oyster every year and also look for signs of water egress along the keel/hull joint, especially since we had the keel come loose on our Hunter 6 years ago.

I actually like bolt on ballast, esp lead stuff bolted on a sturdy stub or onto a grid; with led then encapsulated in glass. Belt and braces.

"Most boats"??? I think if you check the numbers you'll find that most non-trailerable boats are in the water year round.

And "water egress"? I guess if you're on the hard, you could look for water coming out of the hull? Or do you mean ingress? I let it go the first time...
