Florida to San Francisco via Panama Canal

Hello CF,

We are getting ready for the big trip scheduled to begin end of May with 3-4 months budgeted.

One of our crew members is forced to opt out due to an unforeseen business commitment.

We may or may not replace him, depending upon who might be interested in taking his place.

Here are the basics of the trip:

Boat ---56' CNSO Mikado cutter ketch. She is just completing a 8 year TOTAL re-fit. Equipped with new sails and rigging, navigation, communication, safety gear, watermaker, icemaker, diesel generator, inverter, etc. 3 staterooms, 2 heads, a well equipped galley and a 9' Boston Whaler tender.

Route ---Our initial plan is as follows:
Titusville to Key West
Key West to Dry Tortugas
Dry Tortugas to Havana
Havana to Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres to Rio Dulce
Rio Dulce to Roatan
Roatan to Isla Provindencia
Isla Provindencia to San Blas
San Blas to Colon
--Panama Canal--
Panama City to Isla Las Perlas
Isla Las Perlas to Galapagos Islands
Galapagos to Hawaii
Hawaii to Seattle
Seattle to San Francisco

Of course, this plan is weather dependent.

This is an unpaid crew position, however the only expenses that the crew will have are individual customs and visa fees and on-shore meal expenses.

No smoking and no drugs...period. Alcohol is allowed only at port.

Safety is #1 and crew compatibility is #2. Everything else is open for discussion :-)

A cruising couple could be considered with a private stateroom.

This is not going to be a camping trip. Solace is very well outfitted and is designed for crossing oceans with speed and comfort. We plan on making this an incredible, memorable experience so all the crew will have a say in how long and where we travel, within reason of course.

If interested, send me a pm with your contact info and we can chat about this opportunity.

Thanks !!

Jeff
