Fish Cleaning Station / Filet Table in Evolution

Hi All,
Does anyone have any thoughts or pics on a filet table for a Helia Evolution or other FP where the stern has a bench seat? I was thinking of adding a rod holder in the port side with a removable table that would fit in it but wasn't sure due to the curvature. Maybe a table on an adjustable base on compensate for the angle perhaps? Thanks.

Yes, that looks good. I was originally thinking along the side but I realized it would be too high and the back "bench" doesn't go all the way across anyway so working area won't be a problem. Thanks!

Yea,
Sorry to the OP, but I think most of the fish really worth catching are much larger. For general off-shore work: Filleting and so on needs at least a meter board IMO..

Here is the one from Sams Wholesale Marine, it was a 1200 long, almost four feet, boarder on three sides and limber holes for offal that went past the edge of the Helia 44 into the water. I am looking for this board again, but did not find it in the current catalogue. Maybe the International Boat Show in Sanctuary Cove will have one in May 2019, I will be there for the gear expo..

Anyway, I mean all Mahi-Mahi, Swordfish, all the good stuff is big... And BTW BIG BEAKIE: Please be advised with all this warmer water stuff here in the GBR you should NOT EAT the Mackeral over about 800 mm... For some reason they store up Ciguatera (sp.) toxin. There is about a 1 in 10 chance of getting the Ciguatera poisoning on larger Mackeral, I am told, over about 800 mm is no longer advised. I guess they eat too many reef fish and it accumulates in their system... Anyway, the smaller ones are better.

In the pictures, couple of years ago, one of my fishboard, one of two Spanish Mackeral on it.. The larger one was still alive and we let it go... Maybe both, cannot remember. Just put them on the board for the pictures...

Kind regards to all, Helia 44, Steven now Blessed to be on its big Sister, SABA 50... "SERENITY"

Spanish are actually smaller fish, a table would need I think to be six feet.Click image for larger version
