Jeanneau Sun Charm 39 (1989 ) opinions anyone?

This is our current favourite. It seems to balance space with not too many systems (we are novice sailors but experienced on water and I am prior Coastguard and looking to get some 'on water' and 'on boat' tuition) and also is what I would term a 'manageable' size for a family of 4 for local Hauraki Gulf, NZ cruising with a view to a bit further afield later on, (perhaps Fiji or New Caledonia).

Any thoughts or views or experiences of the boat welcome.

Hi. Picking up on a post from 2018 - you were asking opinions on the Sun Charm 39. Did you buy the Jeanneau? How has it worked out? I am also looking at a couple of Sun Charms for sale from 1990-91 - any info appreciated.
