EMERGENCY ELECTRONICS

For those who have recently shopped for a new EPIRB or other safety electronics......
. Can you give us some product recommendations?

Re: EMERGENCY ELECTRONICS

For AIS MOB there's a good review at Tested: AIS MOB devices – Yachting World

I haven't bought yet but planning to get the OceanSignal MOB1. I like that it has a DSC alert as well as the AIS.

Re: EMERGENCY ELECTRONICS

I like (really like) KTI products.

10 year battery life, 10 year warranty, very fast GPS fix from cold start, GPS engine stays active while EPIRB is on, 3+ days Tx time, 20 year life expectancy, competitively priced.
