Buying Used Electronics

The MFD on a boat I help with failed, and we're toying with the idea of replacing it with a used one of the same model.

There's always e-Bay, but are there better places to look?

And, although I don't want to profit from something as horrible as the recent (and coming) storms, I can't help but wonder if there's a clearinghouse of sorts for good equipment salvaged from storm-damaged boats.

Re: Buying Used Electronics

Ive used eBay with good success too. Also pay via PayPal for additional protection.

I paid for a used item here on CF a few years ago via PayPal that had some issues. Seller ignored my messages. I filed a dispute via PayPal and suddenly seller became much more responsive. [emoji6]

Try Defender, they have "refurbished" B&G displays pretty cheap. I got a 9" Zeus2 for $699.
