Hello from Portugal !

Hello!

My first post here on the Cruisers Forum.
Actually i own a Jeanneau One Design 24, and i am looking around to find a new boat.

My sailing area is the Algarve Coast and the Ria Formosa, one of Europe largest salt water lagoons (170 km2). You can find more about it on:

Ria Formosa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hope you like it!

Jorge

Jorge -

I recently visited the Algrave, unfortunately not by boat. It's a beautiful area and one that looks great to venture out in the sailboat. I stayed in Lagos across the street from the city marina. Met many fine sailors. Hope to go back by boat someday.

Welcome on board,

I actually lived in Carvoeira for a few years and sailed out of the bay just East of Prahi de Roche. Lovely area of the world and I miss my chicken piri- piri terriably not to mention, brandy meil, bread, garifferia particular, Esperao wine, and the bracelet of lights, stretching as far as the eye could see, of the fisherman fishing at night.

I hope you enjoy the forum, there is a very knowlegable group here to help and advise.

regards

Alan
