How about one of these babies to avoid diving to checkout prop/rudder etc???

I assume a they're to a foot with an antenna, cause I don't think Wifi works underwater? Maybe that is just Bluetooth?

These devices typically have a floating WiFi hotspot to transmit images to display via a mobile app. But at $3000, it's an expensive toy.

Yeah the IPad corrected my spelling, it was supposed to say a float with an antenna, but if you have to have a float with an antenna, this is better than just a tether?
Marketing, people will pay more for wireless, even if it really isn't

Yeah, no one makes fishing gadgets...

Honestly, that might be a good learning tool but any halfway decent fisherman knows how to interpret what they see on a fish finder.

I understand that they want to try and market it to every segment they can, but this looks like a solution in search of a problem when it comes to fishing.

However, it could be useful for scouting reef openings, checking your anchor if you're the type who does not like going in the water. I suspect the range might be a bit iffy for some applications.
