Hot Water Woes

Hi All,

We have a Seaward 6 gallon hot water cylinder which we heat through 240v whilst in our slip. We have not been able to heat the water via the engine for the last two years.
We have taken both water pipes off leading to the cylinder to make sure there are no blockages and also checked the elbow coming off the manifold which is also clear. The pipe leading from the engine from the elbow does not appear to get even warm when the engine has been running. We use 50/50 water/coolant in our system.
We have a new heat exchanger and our engine's temp sits around 150-160deg (as shown on our gauge), so for the life of us we can't work it out.:
Would very much appreciate any suggestions as to why this could be happening. Thanks everyone.
