Best Apps for Celestial navigation?

I'm in the middle of the US Power squadron course on celestial navigation. does any one have recommendations on iPhone apps for doing the law of cosines calculations ? and for a reasonably priced scientific calculator ?

i'd love to be able to afford the $1200 Toyama or Celestaire calculators -- but alas they are far too expensive on a social security budget...

You couldn't do better than StarPilot. Their website is StarPilotLLC.com.
I bought it a few years ago and cannot remember the price exactly, maybe something like €40.

There are a couple; Sightcalc by Nuvocom, (free I think) was developed for use with the course and Celestial $19.99 (Home)

With Sightcalc you use the same values asked for by USPS form SR96a. It takes the need of a calculator away. It returns the 5 place values you need for your sight folder.

Celestial is a stand alone. Enter the body, time, DR position and it gives you Hc, Distance and Zn I use it a lot when I take sights.
