Connect Garmin Chartplotter (GPSMAP 7407) to OpenCPN

Hi all,
I have 1 Garmin Radar (HD18Radom), 1 Chart plotter (GPSMAP 7404). When I connected them to OpenCPN (Ver 4.4), radar images appeared on OpenCPN but the position of my boat was not correct. I can change position of my boat in to any where on the ENC but it is not automatically updated “real” positions. I don't know why? GPS is avalable in my Chartplotter so i think it will automatically update position of my boat. Do I have any mistake when configuring them?
Could you help me to resolve this problem?

Yes, you likely do have some mistake somewhere. But to tell where it would be most helpful if you could describe how you actually have them connected.
One thing is for sure - you need two separate connections - ethernet for the radar and serial for the NMEA data like position of your boat. Is it the case?
