Columbia 36

Hey guys I'm doing a refit of a columbia 36, I wasn't the one that took it apart.
Long story.. but I am trying to figure the thru hulls out. Tried looking up online which holes are for what but couldn't come up with anything.. Any columbia owners out there that can tell me. Need purpose of each hole on hull.
Thanks..

Re: Columbia 36

Hi Sylvio,
There is a pretty active Columbia owners group on Yahoo groups:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...ingyachts/info

I bet someone there has a 36.

Some photos would be nice, but typically you'll find 2 for the head, a large one and a smaller one. There is one under the sink in the galley, but I am not sure if they had one for the sink in the head. 2 are under the cockpit I believe, although on my boat they used one thru-hull for 2 cockpit drains... not much volume draining! (I dodge all the big waves) You may have a hole in the hull for a transducer or something too?

I take it you have the interior gutted?

Re: Columbia 36

Oops, forgot you will have another one back there under the cockpit for the engine water intake too. Is the engine in it?

Re: Columbia 36

I have a Col26MkII

Two thru hulls near the head one for water intake one for outspit. One for cockpit drains running near the transom. No internal engine, so don't know about that if you have an inboard. Some models have a shower instead of a locker and a separate thru hull for the shower drain. Dont think any transducer sounders on the Columbia are thru hull, at least on mine it just shoots through the hull or you mount it on the back of the transom.
