Re: Strange readings on battery monitor

Sorry, that's with the charger disconnected. When I went to the boat in the morning it was at 13.7V with the chargers "charged" green led on. I removed the charger and the voltage started dropping which is normal. However it normally drops and stops at 13.3/4. However it kept dropping. I left it with the charger off and I'll see what it is at today.

Re: Strange readings on battery monitor

13.34 today, just on solar with fridge and freezer running. Not sure what happened yesterday maybe not enough solar with the fridges running ?

Thanks everyone for your help, I'll just keep a close eye on it for awhile.

see Dave you aren't giving enough info

All the above indicates to me is that you are either in float or have a light charge from the solar going into the batteries. I'm fully charged and on shore power right now and my BM voltage readings the same as yours and that's what I would expect. If I turned of the charger and all DC loads it would still read that for a while but slowly drop to around about 12.7 (fully charged) as the surface charge goes away and stay there till I turned the DC loads back on.
