The 12” unit works great but the 17” fits the same but made a difference in temp.

Is much involved in fitting the 17" ?

It replaced the 12” unit in the photos.
The hoses all matched up except the single hose on the right.
Very easily adapted.

We have the bowman type HE - does it all still match up?

Is the Bowman type that is incorporated into the exhaust manifold? If so this is not compatible. This unit goes across the motor just above the transmission.
