Yes. we've been there, have some friends on the islands. Very concerned about people on Tanna and Erromango, which look like they might have copped direct hits.
These people live in what to most of us would barely be considered sheds. Mostly woven pandanus walls with reed or sometimes tin roofs. And usually very close to shore too, since
fishing is a main source of protein for them.
In the islands apart from Efate and Espiritu Santo,
medical help is pretty much unavailable.
