Jeanneau sun fizz 40

I am looking at one to buy. She seems to be in very good shape, in general and will be hauled out for survey. The windows both sides show evidence that they were leaking at some point. But it is all dry now and the wood is not rotten. Any recommendation about it. Can someone tell me about other "hidden" problems with the sun fizz. Would greatly appriciate any comments. Btw I am not experienced at all. Thanks - Paul

& others will show you the mettle of the boat
(but you'll be pouring tons of money into a refit, don't forget!)

Re: Jeanneau sun fizz 40

I dont see what this vids have to do with the sun fizz or any particular boat. Any boat desintegrates if you blow it up. I have no intention of doing that. But thanks anyway

lol! kaboom!

Is this the ketch version? I think Laura Dekker had a Fizz of some kind in her movie, Maidentrip. Might be worth checking out, although she doesn't go into too much detail about that boat in the movie.

Check out the Jeanneau Owners site. We have an 2003 Jeanneau 43DS and have lived aboard for the last year. Sailed her from San Diego to Portland April 2015 and another trip to the San Juan's in August. So far it's been a great boat. Well built, lots of room, and sails well too!
