1985 Catalina 30 Tall Rig

We are moving and not in a position to bring this doll with us! She sails a dream, and like all Catalina's she's ready and fit.

YEAR: 1985 TYPE: Sail
BRAND: Catalina CATEGORY: Cruiser/Cruiser Sailboat
MODEL: 30 LENGTH (LOA): 30'
BEAM: 10' 10" DRAFT: 62"

Location: Bellehaven, NC
Price: $13,500

This vessel has a roller furling 100% Genoa (with whisker pole) and the high clew main in its inventory. All the running rigging controls are led aft, making this boat easy to sail from the comfortable cockpit.
Wheel steering and mounted engine controls mean a relaxed helm while under way. The cabin mounted traveler allows sailors to relax under the bimini top while under sail.

Below, the cabin layout makes excellent use of the wide beam on this boat with a transverse galley complete with stove and foot pump pressure sink. A navigator station houses all electrical panels and equipment. There is a settee with a stowable table that can be converted to a berth. An enclosed head with a manual flush toilet separates the main cabin from a comfortable vee berth forward.

A sturdy and reliable Universal M25 diesel with less than 750 hours makes getting in an out of the marina effortless. The Calatina 30 is an easy to handle overnighter for the family and a capable boat for the serious sailor. And this has anchor, fenders, dock line, and all the USCG gear ready to go.

We have loved her, but , we need to make a long distance move and we can't take her with us.

no, we used our Inav and a tablet with a plotter. I do have the hockey puck type satelite booster on her. We are keeping our tablet though. She's pretty basic but a fine sailing vessel, we just have to move, which is why the price is so reasonable.
