Crew Available: Ready to sail! (West coast US)

Looking for an opportunity to crew.

I am a responsible 48 year old guy. I have a bachelors in engineering and masters in architecture. I am working as a contract engineer right now but have time between projects. I am interested in gaining blue water experience with the goal of purchasing my own boat in the future. -I dream of doing ocean crossings and seeing where life takes me. Hoping to line up an opportunity some time in the next 6 months.

I am laid back and can take direction well. I rise to the occasion in stressful situations and perform well under pressure. I am ASA 101, 103, & 104 certified less than a year ago in St Thomas but still gaining experience. I have spent a lot of time on power boats in the past as a scuba instructor (for 1 year after undergrad in the Bahamas) and feel at home on the water. I am in shape and have good endurance if a situation were to require it.

I am looking for an experienced captain, with a well equipped/safe boat, that needs extra help.
