Fun with epoxy on cabin soul

Two coats of epoxy , then one good coat of Imron Ultra Polyurethane Clear coat . Of course sanding between coats . Viola! floors to die for .

These floors were still in there original varnish , it was time for refinishing.

Regards John

Looks great!
Did you strip them down then apply epoxy sanding between coats, then Imron, what's the time frame between epoxy and Imron?

Yes , the top picture is the old finish coming off , sanding with 80 grit on a dual action 6 inch sander.

Time frame , first day first coat of epoxy , sand the next day flat to fill all the little flaws with 120 on the same sander, then apply the next coat of epoxy , now they look great! Next day sand to flatten the epoxy with 180 grit on the same sander and brush on the Imron clear with a very fine brush, this stuff flows out like glass on a flat surface , so no need to spray it . Takes a long time to dry , 2 days before handling. Good to go .

Regards John.
