Florida heading South - 1 Kiwi Crew

Hello Captain,

I am a Kiwi sailor looking to get aboard a passage from Florida heading South. I am ok with any destination. Very happy to pay expenses. Just grateful for the opportunity.

I will be in Fort Lauderdale from March 2. Willing to travel anywhere in Florida to start the journey.

I have not done any overnight passages in New Zealand but have raced on a weekly basis for the past 12 months. So limited experience but very keen to learn. I am in the process of purchasing a boat in the Caribbean.

I am 49 yrs old and 72kg (158lbs). Long time runner and Triathlete, fit and up to any task.

Thank you for reading.

Re: Florida heading South - 1 Kiwi Crew

i'm single handing my 20 ton 47' Lord Nelson. Tired, and would like watch mate to share the sleep Time while offshore. Juniper is double ended cutter with both electrical (raytheon) and manual (Cape Horn) self steering gear, lots of fuel and water, refrig and wind generator. i'd like to take some time heading to Turks & C with no particular schedule. Been sitting Lake Worth after coming down inside and out from the Chesapeake fritting away at small fix it jobs thinking about next destination. Give me a call

Steve,

Very sorry mate. I arrived in Fort Lauderdale and almost instantly got a lead on a private boat for sale in the Caribbean so had to fly down there.

My sincerest apologizes for the change of plans.
