Lake Erie ice fisherman rescued

Yep, same old story, out fishing and the ice breaks away.

Though, this is far more common- almost an annual event (one would think it to be planned) on Coneseus Lake.

Dozens rescued after being trapped on Lake Erie ice floe
A sheet of ice holding fishermen on Lake Erie broke loose in windy weather Saturday morning, sending many of them scrambling to safety, but leaving Forty-Six people stranded on the floe, for three hours, more than a mile offshore until emergency crews could rescue them.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries. Great job buy the responding crews!! Its hard to fix it will never happen to me.
