2017 ARC Cat 2 comercial entries.

I was just wondering if the 2017 ARC is still going to allow Cat 2 or Cat 1 Charter boats. To use the ARC as a loophole to take paying passengers on a voyage across the Atlantic they would not be otherwise certified to make.

Will the RYA continue to recognise and accept RYA training centers who engage in this practice?

Would you pay for the trip on a boat which was only cat 2 because it might be a bit cheaper than going on the Cat 0 boats?

It is a Rally for Cruiser which don't have to be able to do the Whitbread or Volvo.
So taking your ordinary everyday sailing boat is OK. Its probably a big dream for many cruisers. I might like to do it on my boat one day.

Is it different If its a commercial voyage?
