Bahamas Cruising Permit Renewal???

Ok, I could Google this or call the powers that be in the Bahamas but thought I'd throw it out to you guys first.

Our one year cruising permit expired in January. I'm going down in April to sail her back to the good ole USA. Flying in on a one way ticket along with two crew.

Is this a "plead ignorance" event and deal with it at the airport if asked? Buy a round trip ticket and avoid the question all together?

Anyone else bump into this issue?

Have a refundable return ticket. Chances are high that the staff at the airport check-in will otherwise deny boarding.
