Just wondering how the older geminis differ from the newer ones
Besides $75 grand price difference

Outboard vs diesel amongst other things. Theres some real value in those older geminis depending on your intended use. I purchased one for 15k once in Belize, an adventure that didn't workout, but still good value and adventure.

3200 - transom hung rudders, outboard power
3400 - underhung rudders with rear steps, most are outboard powered buts some diesel
105 - most diesel but some early ones outboard.

We had an outboard powered 3400 and found it the sweet spot. Loved having the steps as it made it so easy to get on and off at low docks. Outboard is much simpler and less maintenance than diesel and with modern 4stroke EFI engines, not a lot of difference in fuel economy.

The marketing literature suggest a 1/4kt speed advantage but good sails, clean bottom and keeping the weight down will likely have a bigger effect.
