Hi everyone, I am new to the site. I am a retired Merchant Seamen. My highest rank was bosun. I am now disabled getting back into the sailing world . I could use advise on sailing with a handy cap. Welcome aboard. I sailed with a paraplegic, he lived aboard his cape dory 30 ketch. I myself am recovering from a brain surgery that has caused some glitches. My balance was very bad one year ago, but now it is really good.( I live aboard) You might find that the boat makes for some great PT😀. Best advice, but hard to follow~ Take it slow.

I recommend reading some books by Tristan Jones.

He continued to sail after losing his ability to walk.
