Except in some FL restaurants where "fresh grouper" is, apparently, not grouper at all..

Where in Tortola is the boat? Was it in a charter program before you?
Thank you,
DV

I am interested in your boat. What are the engine hours? What is the best way to get a hold of you?

It's a scam. Beware....owners version Bene473 even if all stripped out would fetch at least 80-100k . ANyone worth their sea salt could list it with a broker and get 150k all day long!!!

Re: 2004 Beneteau 473 (Tortola)

Yikes!

Why is everyone so negative on the boat only according to the price?

If you are seriously interested you would have enough knowledge to see its ex-Sunsail: the red UV in the Genoa, the blue of the saloon material.

If people want a quick sale then you can't pitch to the top of the market.

By the way, its not the 'owner's version, there again, anyone with the barest knowledge of the 473 would know that.

I think the 473 is a terrific boat. I would love one. Its the size, strength and layout I like. I do like the owners version better as it has a starboar u shape galley with direct inside access to the Lazarette.

Obviously I don't know the condition of this boat, but the seller has made 2 comment on things that need about $10k invested Immediately.
But for someone who is looking for a low threshold to cruising this boat could well be a great one to have a look.

Re: 2004 Beneteau 473 (Tortola)

Hi Mark, I agree the B473 is terrific, I had one. The pics show it as an owners version with the 3 bedrooms, the giveaway is the salon port settee and 2 heads instead of the charter version's port side galley and 3 heads...If it is the charter version then the Pics are misleading and so is the add.
Cheers

Re: 2004 Beneteau 473 (Tortola)

I did get a reply from A&C Yacht Brokers that they have the listing on this boat. I would contact them if you have an interest. From my quick talk with the broker it does not seem like a scam. We are no longer interested as the wife really wants a cat.

This would make my short list if it were here in the Great Lakes. I've been aboard a local 473 several times and there strike a good balance between space, sailing performance and budget for our family of five.

Doesn't show up on their web site. May be gone?
Asked a couple simple questions thinking to fly down but got no answers.....oh well.
