Dufour 35 Cutlas Bearing

Has anybody out there replaced a Cutlass bearing on a 1975 Dufour 35. I wish to know if the drive shaft is short enough to be removed from the Stern without coming into contact with the rudder Skeg.

Well Hell...

Nobody chimed in... You know you can SOMETIMES replace a cutlass/cutlas/cutless... er prop shaft/strut bearing without pulling the shaft?

I assume you have a propshaft strut...

Re: Dufour 35 Cutlas Bearing

I have attached a photograph that may help. I do believe that I may well be able to remove the cutlas bearing without removing the shaft. See pic attached
