Anchor Lagoon 40/39

Hi Everyone.

Doing some research for a bigger anchor on our new, to be delivered Lagoon 40. We would like to mount a Spade 160 anchor. anybody has a Spade anchor mounted on his Lagoon 39/40? Or knows if this fits or not?

Thanks!

We have a lagoon 42 tpi. Older, and bigger, but we just upsized to a spade s120. I'm surprised you would need to go bigger. Not complaining mind you, if the windlass can handle it, all good. But I sleep great with the 120.
By the way, it fits great on our roller.

Installed Spade 140 (30 kg) on L400.
Replacement for the factory supplied Delta 25 kg.
Works excellently and fits well on the bow, except one adjustment:
Needed to move the chain stopper position due to the differenr shape of the anchor stock.

Re: Anchor Lagoon 40/39

Funny thread. I guess that Chinese Bruce is the OEM anchor? But aren't they all Chinese!

Anyway, replacing standing rigging on a 400 and they have been cruising 4.5 years with that Bruce/claw. Must work ok!
