Anyone know how these boats stand the test of time ? I am thinking about buys one next week, but still a little sticker shocked.

I have told told that are highly reliable and great ocean handling boats, but like to hear what you have to say.

oops
What I was triying too say was that I done some sail training in a Jeanneau 40 that was 5 yrs old and was used regularly for that purpose here in morton bay - and that boat was still in great condition the only waer and tear that I noticed was in the cockpit table suport - and that was because the owner had jerry rigged a centre support for a camp bed that he sets up sometimes in summer to sleep out under the bimini - the wooden blocks that he uses dont quite fit and a sleeping human weighs a lot mor than the stuff you'd put on a table'

Most people I know who own Jeaneaus speak highly of them.

One couple have cruised a Sunshine 36 from Perth (Oz) up to Med. Another couple currently en-route from France to Caribbean on a 40 footer.

I've no personal experiences of the model you refer to - but overall impression of the brand is positive.

Good luck
JOHN
