Are you a small boat cruiser?

OK, I confess, I am selfishly trying to wake up some of these social groups I joined that have gone quiet, most likely because folks don't know they exist or don't check in on new postings. This one has 158 members!
Cruisers & Sailing Forums - The Small Boat Cruiser
This one says it's for those with boats under 30 feet, but I don't think anyone will complain if you have a 31 footer!

Re: Are you a small boat cruiser?

OK I will bite and check it out. Now if they would get group posts to show up on the new posts search page we would be golden.

Re: Are you a small boat cruiser?

Great! Membership is up, posts are in... coming back to life! Perhaps I'll post reminders here on this thread to remind folks to check in there.

Re: Are you a small boat cruiser?

I'm still not even sure how to find the group postings! Do you apply the 30% extra length rule to catamarans (don't currently own one but thinking of shopping...)

The link just takes me back to the timeline page. Same as the link to the west coast sailors group. Must be a phone thing.

Re: Are you a small boat cruiser?

I suspect the problem with the Social Groups is one of visibility and ease of finding things while surfing the forum. IF the social group posts are hidden from easy view, I think the group will be dormant. Good luck.

I will post on my trip to Port Townsend in two weeks. Got a steal on an old zodiac rib 150.00
But the only way to get it is to sail there before the end of this month . On the way I will also decide where to mount my 100 dollar water maker. Pictures of course.
