Currently in Port Villa, Vanuatu. Looking for boats needing crew to PNG/Indonesia/Asia

I am a 26 year old Australian guy I have experience keeping watch, navigating, preparing and repairing rigging and sails. I do not get seasick and can cook while in heavy seas and maintain attention during long watches at night. I am confident and capable of handling the boat in bad weather and can work well alongside others

I am a fast learner of new skills and work hard for my keep on board. I am not afraid of bad weather and have my own safety and wet weather gear. I am also able to cook, clean, fish and have a good sense of humour.

I am a qualified in
- Bronze Surf life saving,
- First Aid (including spinal)
- TEFL english Certificate
- Keelboat crew and helms course by sailing Australia
- Open water PADI Diver

Have you taken a look at the noticeboard at the Waterfront? A few ads up there in recent days for crew wanted. Also, the old square rigger in the outer anchorage might be an option if you want to pay. They're having an open day tomorrow (Sunday) in the afternoon.

Thanks for the replys guys, but i have opted to fly to Indonesia instead, the pacific islands were stating to prove a little too time/money consuming for me. i did sail with Alvei though in Fiji, good tallship, just a little slow with keeping a schedule haha.

I am now looking for Boats requiring crew from Malaysia to India/Sri Lanka, If anyone has any tips about what ports to look around, and what times are good to catch boats.
