Catamaran berth refit

Has anyone done a refit in any of the berths on a 40-46 ft Cat where you have taken a double berth and turned it into a four bunk berth. If so, what brand do you have? Does it negatively affect resale (I assume it does). Does the boat Coast Guard certification have to be changed?
