Chartplotter/ fishfinder L76 no power up

Hello all ,

my raymarine chartplotter / fishfinder has decided not to power up anymore , has anyone had this problem also ? Next to sending it to raymarine and get ripped for several hundreds of $ what else could I do to solve the problem ?
The power knob does nothing , 12 volt supply is ok . Is there an internal fuse of any kind ? I opened the unit hoping I could find something to no avail .

Thanks for helping out
Regards

Might help if you tell us what model you have and when you tested the power was that at the pins as close to the the chart plotter?

Re: Chartplotter/ fishfinder L76 no power up

My apologies for the confusion ( and accidental double post ). , the model is raymarine L760 plus , chartplotter & fishfinder .
An older type but never the less adequate for it’s purpose .
Maybe it was designed , designated , rigged and wired to fail after a certain time .
If so , a disgrace considering the original purchase price .

Regards

Edit:
12 volt supply was tested to the pins .

Hi Pete , could you do me a favour and correct the title of my post so people ( and search function ) know it involves a Raymarine L760 combo chartplotter / fishfinder .
I don't seem to have the authority to do that myself .
It’s just that I found how to fix the malfunction .
By pushing the power button and at the same time the grey button right next to it the unit went into factory reset .
I’m also happy to find out I re-assembled the unit correctly after taking it apart completely .
All functions work except I can get it to talk with my RL80 CRC plus unit so the fishfinder is not recognised and displayed on this RL80 .
That has been going on for several years now , see other topic.
