Searching for an S2 9.2 Center Cockpit

Hello to all,

We just completed a month long cruise in the San Juan and Gulf Islands on our C26 and Tresa and I are now really ready to change our lives.

The only boat (after a LOT of research!), we've found that suits our needs (coastal, ICW, Bahamas etc), is the S2 9.2 Center cockpit. LOTS of interior space. We're not interested in peak performance as a racer/sailor... Just comfort. We've been looking at this one for years and have researched just about everything there is on the internet on this boat. We have hundreds of photos saved along with data, layouts etc on different years, engines etc and we're getting close to pulling the trigger.

Only one problem: We've never seen one in person! LOL! (I know, sounds crazy... but we live in Medford Oregon 250 miles from the coast, so there's no local source to find one.)

We're looking for an owner of this particular boat anywhere along the PNW (Portland would be great!), and hoping to take a tour. We're willing to drive to do this!

If you or someone you know has a connection to help us, it would be greatly appreciated.

I found one in Port Townsend that recently sold and sent the broker an email this morning asking to facilitate a connection to the buyer in hopes that we could connect, drive up, take a tour/walk through and hopefully confirm our optimistic thoughts on this boat.

PS:

We're located in southern Oregon, so if anyone is willing to show us their S2 9.2 C in the San Fransisco bay area, we'd be willing to drive there as well!

Good choice. A very well regarded boat. Smartly engineered and reported to be fast. I have settled on a Cheoy Lee 33 offshore in immaculate condition for the wife and I but was doing a Florida wide search for boats recently and recalled this one in Boca...eastcoast just north of Lauderdale. Best of luck with your plans.
