Hello everybody,

I have joined your forum to get some new knowledge and advices on sailing. I´m from Slovenia where my girlfriend´s parents have a sailing boat and we have already made some short routes at Adriatic. I found sailing very exciting and I would like to get more self confident on the sea.

Welcome aboard. I learned too late that the best way to have a boat is to have a friend that owns one. A girlfriend with one is even way better.

Welcome aboard. How cold is it there now?

Currently It´s about 2 - 6 degree (celzius) in the morning and about 16 - 20 degree in the afternoon. It´s quite warm for this time of the year. Adriatic see has approximetly 10 degree celzius.

The sailing season in Slovenia usually starts in the middle of April.
