Bluewater Transportation

Has anyone transported a Bluewater Yacht over the highway system? Does the flybridge have to be removed? The Bluewater is 54 ft long with a 12 ft beam!

Thanks Ken

Re: Bluewater Transportation

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Ken.

Probably, but that would depend upon your air draft (FB on/off), and your route (bridges).

Re: Bluewater Transportation

Bluewater yachts are beamy things, just a heads up you might wish double check that beam, as the 49, and 53'ers are well over 13', and much closer to 14' beam. Depending on the state, you might need to have extra permits pulled as well as possible a lead and chase vehicle for overland transport.
