Your existing panels are "12V" (17Vp) panels, and the ones you're replacing them with are "24V" (34Vp) panels, so no - it's
probably not a direct replacement.
If you have an
MPPT solar charge controller, it may be able to handle the higher voltages (like the BlueSky 3024 models I have), but if it can't handle the additional
power voltage - or the additional
power (e.g. if you're near the limit of the existing one), you'll have to replace it as well.
I have three 240W/34Vp panels and two of the BlueSky 3024 12V/24V
MPPT controllers. Two are paralleled into the first controller, and are maxing out its capacity - so the 2nd controller was needed to handle the 3rd panel. Unfortunately, I don't have the space now for a 4th panel ;-)
